ReUsable Bags isn’t just Shopping Bags
There are more places to use ReUsable bags than just grocery shopping.
A coworker brings in their lunch to work every day. When asked about why she uses a plastic bag she let me know it was easy to find and didn’t have to be thrown away every day like a paper lunch sack.
I took that as a challenge and went looking for a ReUsable ‘Lunch’ bag. I found a couple ‘cooler’ style bags that were useful and lowered the amount of plastic going in the trash but their wont fit in your pocket when you are done. Today I found a blog that has downloadable plans to make a 6.5″ x 6″ x 8″ bag. It looks like what I was looking for. And, as a bonus, the site explains how to use a pillow case as the fabric source. I think I will need to provide my coworker with her first one to get her to see the light… off to find a fun pillow case. Take a look here for the plans and walk through.
