Petco offers sturdy reusable bags
While in line to buy treats for our little Luna, we noticed a display of reusable bags at our local Petco. On the heavy duty side, they are priced at $1.99 each. Great to see these available of course.
We went back into the store to take a look around, sadly the only place they were displayed was out the cash register. I think having them when you walk into the store they would do better. We would have grabbed one on the way in, used them instead of wrestling with arms full of little packages then used the same to go out the door (instead of their default plastic bag). Maybe the company fears that people will pick up and use not knowing the bags are not free… I have to believe people would just pay the two bucks to do their part when faced with that at the register.
